Visiting Yachtsman

Visiting Yachtsmen – Current members of a recognized yacht club will be accorded the following privilege for a period not to exceed seventy-two (72) hours.

Launch service when available.
Use of showers and bathroom facilities.
Guest privileges at the Captain’s Table restaurant.

All visiting yachtsmen shall immediately check in and register with the Steward and show proper credentials. After payment of the established fee, they will be assigned a spot for moorage or anchorage. In the event the visiting yachtsmen desire a slip, and such a slip is available, it may be rented to them during their visit at the discretion of the club's Steward. All such visiting yachtsmen must pay the established slip rental fee prior to occupying a slip.

The Hyannis Yacht Club welcomes visiting yachtsmen from around the world. Our club staff is committed to making a visitor’s stay at one of the premier clubs in North America a pleasant experience. Below is a list of the services available to yachtsmen at the HYC.

Steward's Office
When approaching the club by water, call the steward's office on VHF radio frequency 69. The proper hail is "HYC Dockhouse" for someone from the dock staff to respond.

Fuel
Diesel fuel and gasoline are available at the Hyannis Marina in Hyannis inner harbor.

Ice
Cubes and blocks are available at the HYC Steward’s office.

Pumpout Information
Pumpout locations are located in the inner harbor at the Town of Barnstable's Harbormaster's bulkhead by the town docks and at the  Hyannis Marina.  The Barnstable Harbormaster monitors VHF Channel 16.  Hyannis Marine monitors VHF Channel 72.

Water
Hoses carrying potable water are available at the HYC float.

Toilets and Showers
Toilets are available in the main clubhouse and in the Youth Room at the south end of the building. Showers are available in the Youth Room and at the far southern end of the building. Outdoor showers are available on the ramp at the southern end of the property.

Assumption of Liability for Loss
In the absence of a specific agreement to the contrary, the Club assumes no liability for loss of, or damage to, boats, gear, or equipment brought upon Club premises by members or guests, for use or storage therein, and all persons leaving such property on Club premises do so at their own risk.
