Special Events covers on the water events, like the 420 Nationals, the Sunfish Worlds, the 505 Nationals, the ILCA North Americas. We are honored that the organizations and the competitors ask us to host their events. Competitors come from around the world.
Why? Because we do a great job on the water and on shore. But we need members to help us. These events change yearly.
Special Events also include ... Our traditional Family 4th of July BBQ. Volunteers help with the kids games on the beach, entertainment and serving food to 300 plus guests.
Labor Day Cookout - It could be a Pig Roast, a Clambake or a BBQ.
Special Events is exactly what it says - Not everyday activities; larger events that need extra help above and beyond our HYC Team.
